Machine construction company in Kent, OH looking for a 2nd shift Machine Operator to
join their outstanding team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a growth opportunity. This
position will train on the disk grinding machines for the first several months, and will
have the opportunity to work with new robotic CNC machines that are due to be delivered
in early 2024. They will then be transitioned to learn new skills (most likely rotor grinding)
on different CNC machines in the next year.
Summary: The CNC Machinist will produce high quality, precision tooling used in the
company's family of products. They will use the necessary machine shop equipment in the
production of this tooling in a safe and productive manner. Will work in a team-oriented
environment with individual responsibilities in specific machining process.
Responsibilities of a CNC Machine Operator:
● Read and interpret blueprints
● Perform basic set-ups and operate machine shop equipment as designated by
the machine shop supervisor
● Use the most effective and efficient methods to operate each machine
● Set the correct machining parameters for the use of each cutting tool
● Dimensionally and visually inspect the product to assure the product meets all
print and customer requirements
● Enter data in a database
● Other tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements of an CNC Machine Operator:
● High school diploma or equivalent
● Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
● Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
● Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively
● Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
● Strong adherence to safety guidelines and procedures
Schedule:
● 2nd shift
● Monday - Friday 3: 00 PM - 11: 00 PM
Job type: Full-time, temp-to-hire (60-90 days)

Pay: $17-23/hr, weekly pay
