Sharp, energetic Receptionist - Front Office wanted for established Thermal Company. In this position, you will be our office gatekeeper and present a positive impression of the company while dealing with all types of people. The Receptionist will welcome, greet, and direct visitors.  Performing tasks that keep the company moving forward. Full Time. Pay starts at $14.00 per hour. 8am to 4:30pm Monday - Friday. 

General duties of the receptionist


  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them and advising the correct personnel of a visitor
  • Maintains food safety security by following ensuring all visitors sign in to the visitor’s log
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls in a timely fashion
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail and packages
  • Preparing outgoing mail and/or overnight packages (FedEx/UPS)
  • Assist the shipping department in providing facility directions to outside drivers
  • Train employees on use of ShoreTel system
  • Update telephone directory with current information
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area
  • Other duties as assigned

HR Assistant

  • Accept, review and distribute employee applications as needed
  • Process I-9 paperwork for newly hired employees
  • Pass out and review and collect new hire paperwork from employees
  • Assist employees in the health / vision insurance enrollment process
  • Input and file employee disciplinary notices
  • Input and file employee injury reports
  • Process EDD or other outside agency inquiries as needed
  • Maintain ACA 1095 form information in Famous
  • Create and distribute employee ID badges
  • Distribute locker policy and assign lockers to employees
  • Review time sheet reports on a daily basis and make corrections/adjustments as needed
  • Responsible for employee orientation for new hires

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong computer skills including: MS Office-Word, Excel and Outlook required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is mandatory
  • Working knowledge of business office procedures 
  • Ability to take inbound calls and route appropriately
  • Experience with multi-line telephone systems
  • Pleasant, professional demeanor and appearance, and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with the public
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and outgoing personality
  • Discretion and tact required
