Job Description
AtWork has partnered with a reputable machining company that is a one-stop-shop for high-precision machined metal and plastic parts in Orange CA. This company has been in business for over 40 years.
Responsibilities: We are seeking a CNC Lathe Set-Up Operator! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control. The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for setting up jobs on the CNC Lathe for metal and plastic components with tight tolerances. The position requires the individual to be able to take the program provided, set-up the machine, create tooling layouts and meet production set-up and run times.
Requirements: Must be able to effectively install tooling, set-up within the required set-up, and run times for each operation. Capable of changing tools and editing programs for increased efficiency Choose appropriate cutting tools, machine fixture clamps. And soft jaws. Read, interpret, and work from engineering prints, drawings, and sketches.
