Job Description
We are currently seeking a Waterjet operator at our Irvine, CA locations. This position is responsible for setup and operation of our waterjet equipment for production runs. This requires monitoring machinery for any problems during the cutting process. Measuring, recording, and ensures that they meet specifications and verify their quality.
Position responsibilities include: Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner Reads and interprets blueprints and instructions Properly and safely loads and unloads forgings and raw materials onto the waterjet Uses gages and measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements Adjust machine to ensure part conformance Ability to setup and operate waterjet without assistance. Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses fixtures and tooling
Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Interest in Manufacturing Mechanically Inclined
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
