Job Description
We re excited to invite a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to join our front office team at a leading multi-provider ophthalmology practice. As the first face our patients see, you ll be essential in creating a warm and professional environment while ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome patients with professionalism, empathy, and a positive attitude Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments across multiple providers Verify insurance coverage, collect co-pays, and assist with basic billing inquiries Ensure accurate completion and entry of patient forms into our EMR system Handle high call volume with efficiency and courtesy, addressing inquiries or routing them appropriately Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting front desk and waiting area Collaborate with clinical staff to support daily patient flow and provider needs Uphold HIPAA standards and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times Maintain consistent, punctual attendance and a team-first attitude
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting ophthalmology or optometry experience is a plus Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Dependable, organized, and committed to excellent patient service High school diploma or equivalent required Must pass background check and drug screening
