National manufacturing facility located in Swannanoa, NC seeking entry and experienced level operators to work in the production of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, healthcare, institutional and industrial markets
Monday through Thursday, 4pm-2am, every Friday off
PAY: $18.00/HR
Job Responsibilities Include:
-Ensuring the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.
-Ensuring the machine is set up correctly per the production paperwork instructions
-Take samples and keeps area clean
-Actively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects
-Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination
-Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner. This could include performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.
-Complete operating assignment meeting or exceeding the standards
-Assist with line changeover
-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
-Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in plant or warehouse
Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to complete training and master skills that are required by position (including but not limited to Hazardous Material Safety
Ability to understand and track safety, quality and productivity data, including run rates
Mechanical aptitude
Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) & Continuous Improvement Systems
Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
