We are looking for our next Production Line Lead to join our manufacturing facility. We are committed to delivering innovative and reliable safety and survivability solutions to our customers. Shift: 7am-3: 30pm
Pay: $19/hr
Job Summary for Production Line Lead
The Production Line Lead is responsible for overseeing a variety of manufacturing activities within their department. This will include planning and leading activities of production personnel and coordinating workflow to ensure production and quality goals are achieved. The Line Lead will apply their knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures to complete assignments while ensuring the facility is safe and hazard free place to work for all employees. Responsibilities for Production Line Lead
Demonstrate and enforce a commitment to the quality of our products Determines the most efficient use of employee resources to accomplish goals Prioritize and assign work load to meet needs Provide work instructions to employees and follow-ups on operations Coordinate and execute employee training to meet company practice standards Use basic math skills to ensure stable operation Identify and report problems, and potential problems regarding materials and other work related issues and recommend corrective action in a timely manner Analyze cost reductions Achieve delivery goals, daily schedule compliance and on time delivery Observe and enforce all company rules and safety practices to ensure a safe work environment Motivate employees and provide positive feedback on performance. Keep records on orders, scrap, rework and pulls Requirements for Production Line Lead
High School diploma or equivalent 2-5 years of experience in related manufacturing Strong understanding of interdepartmental workflow, knowledge of manufacturing processes Able to read, comprehend, and interpret technical drawings Excellent written and oral communication skills Well versed in current computer software; MS applications, Word, Excel, Outlook and understanding of ERP systems Ability to work up to 12 hours a day and occasionally lifting up to 50lbs Basic knowledge of Empirical and Metric hardware Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion Bring a positive attitude to work Follow and understand all safety measures in place What makes the Production Line job great?
