Job description Available Shift for the Industrial Production Worker
Monday Friday
1st Shift: 7: 00/7: 30am 3: 00/3: 30pm
Pay:$16.50/hr
Location: Macomb, MI
The purpose of the Industrial Production Worker is to carefully work with leather to build high end, luxury car interior.
You will be working with very expensive materials for interior leather coverings. You will work the leather over interior structures which will be placed inside of luxury vehicles. You will be responsible for completing the following tasks in the assembly process: sewing, stitching, punching, and splitting leather. You will also be responsible for wrapping and trimming the edges, using heat guns, hand laminating, and painting/spraying the leather.
You will prepare all work supplies and move them to their designated stations. You will assist your coworkers and managers with any of their needs. You must be flexible in your job description as you could be working at several different stations. Job Requirements for the Industrial Production Worker:
You must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
You must have steady hands
Must be able to pass a background check
Must keep workstation clean
Strong organizational skills are required
You must be able to bend, twist, and lift.
Must be willing to learn, adapt, and grow withing the company
You must be able to take directions from multiple supervisors
You must be detail orientated, self-sufficient, highly motivated, and fast paced
Pay for Industrial Fabric Sewer:
$16.50/hr to start (raise up to $18.50 after 6 months)
