We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Third Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our night shift operations. This role ensures efficient production, maintains quality standards, and leads a team to meet company goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and guide manufacturing staff, ensuring adherence to job expectations, policies, and procedures.
Plan, monitor, and evaluate job performance while providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Recruit, train, and develop employees to promote personal and professional growth.
Maintain workflow by monitoring production processes, setting variables, and troubleshooting equipment and personnel issues.
Implement cost reduction strategies and enhance reporting procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Schedule and assign personnel, track progress, and adjust plans to meet production goals.
Ensure product quality by enforcing company standards and monitoring performance.
Oversee equipment operation, coordinate repairs, and evaluate new tools and techniques.
Compile, analyze, and respond to production data, ensuring timely reporting.
Resolve personnel issues by investigating concerns and recommending solutions.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment through education and enforcement of company policies.
Requirements:
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
