Work Schedule: 6am-5pm M-TH & 6am-2: 30pm on FRI Staring Pay: $20/hr. Approx 52 hrs/week Weekly Pay Description:
The primary role is to oversee Bottle Blowing machine operations, fine tune heat profiles, monitor machine
performance, monitor Support equipment, monitor Machine peripheral equipment, detect and correct defects in
bottles, machine part changeover, and mechanically service the machine per standards set forth by the facility. The
BM Technician must be able to conduct quality test, isolate equipment issues, remove/replace failed machine
components and determine failure modes by studying worn/failed components and/or machine reports. Must be able to
adhere to all safety standards set forth in the facility and be able to identify and report any unsafe conditions to management.
Objective:
To ensure blow mold and associated equipment is operated in a safe, efficient, and correct manner. The BM
Technician will produce quality bottles and promote a safe working environment for all team members. The Blow
Mold Technician will help drive productivity and line efficiency to support production goals.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Efficiently and effectively operate blow mold and associated equipment as well as quality verification equipment. Understand the equipment process (Sequence of Operation). Oven lamp configuration and corresponding bottle attributes affected by adjustments to zone temperature. Responsible for all necessary equipment being energized and ready for Production following an extended shutdown period. Access, understand, monitor, and correct machine and material alarm conditions. Understand blowing process and how to make appropriate adjustments to the equipment process to produce a quality bottle and prevent defects Perform machine/associated equipment changeovers in an efficient and correct manner. Assist the maintenance department with preventative and corrective maintenance and to test the machine after PMs to ensure system readiness for production prior to machine restart. Troubleshoot equipment issues while working with the maintenance team to resolve any issue adversely affecting the machines operational status Requirements:
Were eye protection Regular Attendance Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to identify defective parts and machine conditions using audio and visual cues (must be able to identify changes in equipment operation from a nominal operating status). Must have finger dexterity. Strong math and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under pressure during stressful situations. Must be able to work flexible shift (up to 12 hours) as determined by business needs.
