We are seeking a Paint Prepper candidates to prep high quality custom displays for trade shows.
This is a prep-only role. Candidates will not be painting.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Sanding and prepping surfaces for painting
Priming
Taping
Applying Bondo
Ability to mix epoxies
Ability to mud
Qualifications:
Ability to finish work with extreme attention to detail
Must be a go-getter that is ready and willing to work
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work in a team environment
Working knowledge of spray equipment and prep booths a plus
Experience with various substrates such as steel, aluminum, wood, plastics, laminate, fiberglass, and automotive bodies/components is a plus
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, lift, and sand on their feet 10– 12 hours a day
Shift:
1st Shift: 7: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM
Overtime is currently in effect — candidates should be prepared to work 10– 12 hours per day (OT is added to the end of the shift)
Duration:
Expected to last through April, with a significant amount of work anticipated immediately after — strong potential for ongoing employment for the right candidate
Pay:
$17.00 – $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
