Welding/Grinding Apprentice/Laborer Needed

LOCATION: 14 Mile and Dequindre, Troy MI

PAY: $12/hr, with over-time opportunity

SHIFT: 7: 00 am- 3: 30pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch

BENEFITS: After 90 days, you will be hired in and receive a $1/hr raise. After 180 day, you will receive BCBS health care (paid for by the company). After 1 year, you are offered 401k with 4% matching.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This shop takes on government contracts. Using welding, laser cutting, and grinding, they transform sheets of steel into parts of various sizes. These parts can be as small as dimes or as large as full assembly lines. To be successful you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs by yourself consistently as well as be able to perform tasks without air conditioning. Requires steel toes and a background check.
