Job Description
Now Hiring a CNC Machine operator on 2nd shift (3: 30 PM - 1 AM). If you have experience operating CNC machinery, we want to hear from you!
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Understand the production plan to ensure machine usage meets the daily/weekly goals Determine appropriate raw materials based on the program and specified requirements Utilize material handling equipment such as an overhead crane or forklift to load materials onto the machining surface Load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the machine Monitor cutting performance while the program is running and make adjustments as needed for the best quality product Perform operator level maintenance as needed, daily and as scheduled Follow production orders and documentation Inspect and perform final cleanup of parts as needed Responsible for cleanup of cutting area and general work area Assist in other production areas as needed
Skills and Attributes
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate overhead crane and forklifts Ability to use general measurement devices tape measure, calipers, gauges, etc. Ability to follow safety, operation and maintenance procedures precisely
Experience Requirements -
2 plus years of experience with laser cutting machines or similar CNC machinery
