CNC Programmer Needed in Riverside Right Away for LARGE Automotive Company!

Pay: $60k- $70k

Our candidate must have the Mastercam 2020 experience along with experience in Aerospace and specifically programming for sheet metal aluminum parts in aerospace. We are looking for someone to train the person we already have on 5 axis, as well as train machine operators on how to begin programming. With this, they need extensive 5 axis programming experience.
SUMMARY: Responsible for programming and maintenance of computer numeric controlled production equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include, but, are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read and understand CNC programs.
Review 3D CAD design blueprints.
Determine sequence of operations in a program.
Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
Read, understand and take appropriate corrective action to messages in programs.
Responsible for the basic upkeep and corrections to programs as well as the associated files, structures, and paperwork.
Apply basic mathematics to relate measured dimensions to product specifications.
Understand technical terms related to turning and machining processes.
Create instructions for machinists.
Work directly with machine operators and engineers to develop and proof programs.
Check completed programs by running simulations or tests.
Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs.
Direct operational and technical efforts of others as necessary.
Monitor machine output for quality and schedule completion.
Make offset changes as required to maintain part specifications.
Proficiently produce parts to prints for either production or nonproduction related needs.
Install tools and work holding.
Change tool inserts as required to maintain part specifications.
Perform basic service checks per documented procedures.
Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations.

CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS THE FOLLOWING COMPANY OBJECTIVES:
Operational Equipment Efficiency at 5 axis machines at 70%+.
Reduce scrap to > 3%.
Introduce Operator and Maintenance TPM's.
Transition work from Quintax and Rye to Haas and Laser.
Transition work from trim shop to 5 axis area.
