Position Overview: Join a trusted name in the overhead door industry as a Commercial Technician. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, servicing, and installing a variety of commercial door systems and related equipment. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and customer-service oriented.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair overhead garage doors and related equipment Coordinate with scheduling team to identify parts and resolve issues Safely travel between customer sites Evaluate job requirements and perform installations or service Work on a range of products including: Commercial garage door operators Hinges, door sections, rolling steel, torsion springs Dock equipment and more
Qualifications & Skills: Experience with commercial overhead door installation and repair Strong mechanical aptitude and safety mindset Certifications (e.G., OSSA Fall Protection, First Aid) are a plus Ability to read and interpret diagrams and technical documents Welding and electrical experience preferred Comfortable working from ladders and in various weather conditions Valid driver s license required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, kneeling, etc.) Must pass drug screening Able to work independently or as part of a crew Excellent communication and professionalism
