Properly organize and maintain contract files and binders. Monitor contract expiration dates and renewals and maintain a database therefor. Upload contracts to the SharePoint Contracts Database. Coordinate collection of and receive input from the different departments in support of bids preparation and contracts negotiation. Assist the Contracts Administration Manager in the preparation of bid responses. Perform research of laws and regulations in support of contracting activities.
The Contracts Administrator must possess excellent administrative, organization, and research skills. The incumbent must have exceptional interpersonal skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong analytical abilities; Detailed-orientation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize work; Self-starter; Team player; Ability to work under minimal supervision and direction; Ability to solve moderately complex problems. Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat; typing skills of 40 wpm.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
College degree, preferably in Business or equivalent. Minimum of four (4) years' experience in contracts and paralegal work. Experience in bids and contracts a plus.
