An expanding medical device manufacturer is hiring a Credit Specialist (Business to Business) for immediate start. 1+ year experience in collections in B2B collections experience dealing with products (not personal/bank collections).
Job Summary
The Senior Credit Specialist position is responsible for safeguarding accounts receivable by reviewing daily orders, the collection of past due balances and reconciliation of disputed amounts. S/he will provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers by consistent, courteous and timely communication regarding account status. MUST HAVE BUSINESS TO BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
Essential Job Functions

Manages credit hold accounts by reviewing held orders and analyzing customer agings, credit limits, customer credit history and/or third party credit reports to safeguard our accounts receivables

Reconciles account balances to resolve disputes and maintains integrity of accounts receivable.

Sets up appropriate credit limits for established accounts based on customer's credit worthiness and projected annual sales

Exhibits professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that is consistent with the company's policies and practices and reflects positively on the company

Associates Degree or its equivalent in experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Proven ability to be pro-active, problem-solve and multi-task while managing a varied workload with constantly changing priorities

1+ years of Accounts Receivable to include BUSINESS TO BUSINESS Credit and Collections

Must have knowledge of standard accounts receivable reports, such as DSO and Account Receivable agings.

Credit programs coursework through NACM or local chapter is preferred

Must have strong computerized accounting skills, intermediate spreadsheet and business writing skills are required.
