Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Development Specialist to join our Resource Development team. This role works closely with leadership to grow and manage a portfolio of donors under $5, 000, execute digital fundraising campaigns, and support donor stewardship. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Implement annual mass-appeal giving programs and digital fundraising campaigns
Build and maintain relationships with individual donors and prospects
Manage donor data in Raiser's Edge NXT and track progress toward goals
Conduct donor research, draft communications, and prepare proposals
Assist in planning and executing special development projects and events
Represent the organization in the community with enthusiasm and professionalism
Support the Development team with administrative tasks and reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent required; Master s Degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in non-profit fundraising or related development work
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fundraising databases, preferably Raiser's Edge
