A growing online medical device company is hiring an Operations/Project Manager to drive projects and initiatives that support the growth of our business, maintain compliance, and improve processes. The position will have the ability to jump head-first into cross-functional projects but also work with the support of the executive Management team. This role will require a strong level of accountability and organization.

We’re looking for an Operations / Project Manager to drive projects and initiatives that support the growth of our business, maintain compliance, and improve processes. The position will have the ability to jump head-first into cross-functional projects but also work with the support of the executive Management team. This role will require a strong level of accountability and organization, interacting daily with stakeholders from several teams, including: Customer Service, Marketing, IT, Merchandising, Analytics, Shipping, etc. Additionally, the candidate must be highly flexible with the ability to quickly assume new areas of responsibility outside of their core areas as the business continues to evolve.

Responsibilities:

  • Help define new and improve existing processes across departments.
  • Coordinate implementation of strategic business initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Develop business plans with understanding and consideration of back-end and front-end dependencies.
  • Understand business requirements and facilitate inter-department communication to ensure alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines across multiple departments with adherence to deadlines and ensuring successful completion of projects.
  • Design training and development programs based on the organizational needs.
  • Facilitate courses or learning sessions with all process job roles and with Leadership as needed.
  • Track all training conducted across shifts and areas.
  • Manage company compliance with marketplaces along with state and federal regulations.
  • Take an involved role in recruiting new hires and new hire onboarding.
  • Maintain knowledge of operation processes for ongoing assessment of the training process.

 

Required:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of project management experience, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to get things done.
  • Process-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
  • Extremely collaborative and effective in a cross-functional environment.
  • Consulting experience or operational leadership responsibility preferred.
  • Evidence of “scrappy startup execution” and how to ‘get it done’ attitude no matter what when time is tight and stakes are high.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity, stress, adversity and conflict to establish focus and deliver against business goals.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-reliant and able to motivate others.
  • Passion for e-commerce, business, and process management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or other related disciplines. Masters is a plus.
  • Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with minimal guidance on tight deadlines.
  • Strong business judgment, written and oral communication skills, with a focus on simplifying communication and streamlining processes.
