Job Title: Field Service Technician
Location: Miami, FL
About the Role:
We are currently hiring multiple Field Service Technicians for direct hire positions with a company specialized in energy efficiency solutions. If you have experience in generator maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, and enjoy working independently in the field, we d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various generators
- Load-bank testing, ATS systems, and generator control troubleshooting
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostics (wiring, batteries, alternators, engines)
- Accurately document services, timesheets, and expenses daily
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
- Mentor junior technicians when needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working with generators (Kohler, Cummins, CAT, etc.)
- Strong mechanical/electrical skills and multimeter proficiency
- Ability to use field service software and hand tools
- Valid and clean Florida driver s license
- Available for travel, on-call rotations, weekends, and flexible shifts
