The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional installation and repair of various types of fences on residential, commercial, and industrial properties. This includes working with a range of materials such as wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation: Inspect and measure properties, lay out fence lines, and prepare the site for installation by clearing debris, digging post holes, and mixing and pouring concrete.
Installation: Accurately assemble and install fence posts, panels, and gates according to project specifications and client needs. This may involve using various hand and power tools, and potentially welding or other specialized techniques.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on progress, and ensure their satisfaction with the final product.
Safety and Quality Control: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the final installation is secure, structurally sound, and meets quality standards.
Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs on existing fences, replacing damaged or worn sections as needed.
Requirements:
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in construction and fence installation. Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret project plans or blueprints. Strong communication and customer service skills. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required. Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or a similar field is often preferred.
