As the Residential Supervisor, you ll be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the program. You ll guide and support both clients and staff to ensure a safe, therapeutic, and client-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily program operations and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and contract requirements. -Lead, coach, and supervise clinical staff (including Counselor II and direct care staff). -Facilitate therapeutic and educational groups, house meetings, and other structured sessions as needed. -Maintain accurate records and conduct case management phone contacts when necessary. -Lead weekly staff meetings and one mandatory monthly meeting to ensure communication and consistency. -Manage personnel functions including hiring, scheduling, approving timesheets, conducting performance evaluations, and addressing corrective actions. -Participate in the on-call rotation to support the program outside regular hours.
What We re Looking For:
-Education: Master s degree in a behavioral science field, or a bachelor s degree with Florida CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) certification may substitute for a master s degree.
-Experience: Previous experience working with substance abuse clients in a residential setting is required.
-Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and computer skills.
Other Requirements: Valid driver s license and proof of car insurance.
