This is a 3-month long, 30 hour/week non-paid internship with focuses on either Client Service, Sales, Marketing, Social Media, Recruiting, or Human Resources.  

AtWork Personnel is looking for motivated creative students or recent graduates interested in learning about staffing, client services, and account management from the ground up. The intern will not only have the opportunity to learn about these topics, but also gain hands-on practical experience that will help to enhance the interns resume or grad-school application.

The Intern will gain agency experience while working closely with the Business Developer and Recruiter team members to deliver quality results toward strategic business objectives.  This opportunity affords a chance to not only see what agency professionals do in the "real world", but also experience the challenges in developing and generating business at a successful local company.

Assisting staff with research of job fair's dates/locations.

Assisting staffing coordinators in following up and validating potential business clients.

Assisting with research for materials, and collecting information to be relayed to clients/s and/or staff.

Assisting in creating deliverables for clients e.g., in the form of professional-quality staffing.

Assisting in the recruitment for remote areas across Houston using social media tools, e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Twitter, etc.


Highly motivated to pursue a career in Staffing agency or PR/event planning firm.

Intermediate computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to details, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Creative thinking and strong analytical skills.

Current student or recent graduates in Marketing, Management, Public Relations, Communications, or other related majors.
