Machine Operators Location: Columbia, TN Job Type: Temp To Hire Pay: $17.75 per hour
Shifts: 1st Shift: 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM 2nd Shift: 2: 30 PM 11: 00 PM Expected Hours: Minimum 40 hours/week Amazing hire on benefits
Job Summary: We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join a leading local manufacturing company in Columbia. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and experience in processing, laser marking, and cable manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment to fulfill value-added work orders
Perform machine setups and oversee operations
Conduct quality checks and complete required paperwork
Document machine setup data and maintain records
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (hand tools required)
Ensure quality standards for kitting and packaging
Respond to emails related to value-added orders
Use statistical methods to maintain quality across operations
Process tickets using ERP system (pulling, cutting, transferring material)
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills (written, technical, oral) Basic math and measurement skills Computer literate
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Required to pass a drug screen and background check.
