We are looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) Mental Health Consultant to support early learning programs using the IECMHC model. You will provide consultation at the program, classroom, and child/family levels, helping staff and families implement strategies to support children s social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with program directors, teachers, and families (4-5 programs, 2-3 classrooms each)
- Conduct assessments, observations, and develop intervention/action plans
- Support staff with classroom management & social-emotional strategies
- Provide family guidance and crisis intervention as needed
- Track data, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance
- Participate in trainings, weekly supervision, and professional development
Qualifications:
- Master s or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology
- 3+ years clinical experience with children 0-5
- Knowledge of working with neglected, abused, or emotionally disturbed children
- Skilled in engaging resistant clients and collaborating with service providers
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
