The role of a Process Technician is to start production respecting objectives set in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery. The main missions of the role are to:
Ensure proper application and follow all HSE procedures in the workplace, including the customer and company locations.
Apply the Standardized work in the workplace and participate to the improvement of standards
Work with machines and secondary equipment, on tooling issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Monitor process and product quality while conducting tooling runs
Assist in the investigation and resolution of off standard technical conditions. Ensure appropriate containment actions are in place. Advise Supervisor of any continuing problem (Line QRCI)
Maintain tooling and equipment thru PM Program, ensure PM program on time, liaise with Maintenance – Level 1 & 2 TPM.
Oversee work with Process Engineering to reduce downtime and improve process efficiency (analyse TRS / non TRS)
Record downtime, scrap, and regrind usage.
Maintain good housekeeping standards and support 5S improvement activities as needed.
Able to addresses minor processing issues and escalate/communicate major processing issues if they arise
Work flexibility in order to meet customer demands and needs.

Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
Conform to requirements established in Blue Springs Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
Conform to requirements established in Blue Springs Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
Ensure GAP members Conform to relevant EMS requirements.
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Comapny's Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
All other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Technical diploma, preferably with a specialization in injection molding.
MUST have injection molding experience within manufacturing.
At least 3 years of manufacturing experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
Preferred to have experience in mold setting
Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment
Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety and Environment skills
Strong technical problem solving skills
Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
