Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Needed ASAP
Great opportunity in Downtown La Jolla
Monday-Friday 10am-3pm
This is a contracted position that will go until the end of the year.
• Serves as receptionist, answers telephone, takes messages, greets visitors and clients, refers telephone calls and visitors to appropriate staff
• Establishes and maintains filing systems for correspondence, forms, reports, records, etc.
• Types letters, reports, form rough drafts, formats reports, proofreads and edits to produce professional results
• Assists in the preparation of statistical compilations
• Operates a variety of office equipment, such as duplication machines, electric typewriters, calculators, and computers
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge of:
• Record management; general office systems and procedures
• Oral and written communication skills; human relations skills
• Microsoft Word/Excel for Windows
Ability to:
• Type 35 n. W. P. M
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year experience and/or education in the clerical/office fields which include operational skills and knowledge listed above
