At Work Personnel is hiring a Sales Force Administrator to support a client of ours in Jacksonville, FL.  This is a TEMP TO PERM position.

Job Summary

The Salesforce Administrator provides support for end-users, maintains changes in the application, monitors and applies changes to policies and procedures, and facilitates configuration and customization needs.   The daily responsibilities include user setup, creating and maintaining profiles and roles, troubleshooting, providing support for reporting and dashboards, and providing training and mentoring for application users.  Additionally, the position is responsible for customization of objects, workflows, fields, page layouts, and validation.

The Salesforce Administrator also collaborates with business team leads, internal stakeholders, and business owners in cooperation with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Software Quality Analyst to gather, define, and communicate business requirements to facilitate project planning, business management, budget execution, and project coordination in accordance with the SDLC process.

Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs Salesforce Administrator functions including, but not limited to, profile and role management, user management, workflows, page layouts, and validation
  • Develops and improves reports, dashboards, and supporting process flows to provide reliable, accurate, and timely visibility into our Salesforce.com data
  • Defines end user requirements and functional specifications, coordinates with developers in designing and developing solutions for Salesforce and third-party integrations
  • Reviews and provides input into project scope definitions. Coordinates development and approval of the business and technical requirements documents
  • Logs and tracks system problems through resolution
  • Works closely with the development team to ensure what is being built is true to the original system change request.
  • Helps the business identify and document work flows. Prepares accurate and detailed system requirement specification documents, user interface guides, and functional / technical specification documents.
  • Drives a process to standardize changes within Salesforce
  • Creates, monitors, and updates detailed project plans.
  • Performs configuration setups to support business needs, identifies impacts of configuration changes
  • Validates test cases and test results against requirements. Validates resource requirements.
  • Creates and maintains documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help related materials for users.
  • Supports training and education efforts to increase adoption of Salesforce.com with user base
  • Works in accordance with the project team on SDLC documentation requirements.

  • Experience working in a regulated environment requiring formal documentation.

  • Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.
  • Experience leading Salesforce requirements gathering sessions, business process flow documentation, and configuration experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience documenting and analyzing sales processes, procedures, and/or policies.
  • Proficient in data manipulation, data cleansing, and report creation.
  • Ability to create objects and custom workflows.
  • Experience integrating third party applications into SFDC enterprise environment.
  • Management of SFDC user accounts and roles to maintain a secure and validated state
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Follows through with initiatives, assignments, and issues without direction and communicates updates and statuses effectively.
  • Application of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com configuration and custom development.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Visio.
  • Able to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally as well as externally.
  • Problem solving & Decision Making / Adaptability & Flexibility.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years Salesforce administrator experience supporting 100+ users
  • Salesforce administrator certification (preferred)
  • 3+ years Business Analyst experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
