Job Description
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of dies for a safe, clean, productive and economical operation that fully supports press production.
Duties:
Repair and maintain production and stamping dies Experience working with large progressive, transfer and deep draw dies Ability to Tig weld Rework of damaged components in a timely manner Maintain a clean and safe workplace Coordinate with manufacturing the dies to be repaired Troubleshoot problems to determine solutions Follow standard work and training for all work activities Adhere to all Safety and Quality policies and procedures Able to lift/push/pull/ up to 50lbs occasionally Able to walk/stand/crouch/bend constantly throughout assigned shift Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels and departments in the Production floor Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Completion of a four-year Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program, required
- Knowledge and ability to work with high strength steel
- Automotive Stamping experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Night shift
